Studies

Several Studies from earlier this year. I took inspiration from Peter Polachs vibrant and colorful skin tones to visually spice them up.
All of this is done from reference for educational purposes, so of course credits of the source images go to their respective owners.

Feet are my personal nemesis, worse than hands. Painting shoes over them all the time is not a valid long-term solution though.

I consider legs very difficult due to all the subtle changes in their curves and shapes. Also tried to push my brushwork in a more painterly direction here.

I want to get better at drawing convincing fabrics, so some drapery studies were necessary. Really fun though!
